Entertainment TV, DVD & CD Unit
A client
approached Cheyenne Millwork to build a custom entertainment
center. Their existing setup had a TV and components in a
stand and speakers on and around the TV.
BEFORE - TV Needed a Wall Unit!
Their
DVD collection was kept in a living room trunk table and was
at capacity. They asked us to design and construct a unit
that would look cool, hold "all their stuff" and have room
for expansion.
The results are stunning (according to the client!). The
unit holds the audio/video components, a 213 lb. 36" TV,
three speakers (plus a subwoofer), has a hidden top shelf
that holds 80 CDs, and most importantly, has space for 520
DVDs, more than double their current library.
By
having the DVD shelves on double facing pullout drawers we
were able to maximize the space inside the upper
compartments of the unit. Don't be deceived by the small
photos... this thing is huge! And they love it, of course.
